The Bank of Russia Commission, which has been considering complaints from top managers and owners of financial organizations from the “black list” since the end of January 2018, rehabilitated 326 persons on the list and refused to satisfy complaints from 259 financiers, the regulator said in a press release. The Central Bank explained the new cash control rules calculations “As of January 1, 2021, the commission received 732 complaints, considered 585 complaints, of which a decision was made to refuse to satisfy 259 complaints, and to satisfy 326 complaints,” it was reported. It is noted that including last year alone, the commission received 177 complaints, considered 141, of which 87 complaints were satisfied, 54 complaints were refused. In the first quarter of 2020, the commission received 70 complaints, in the second – 21, and in the third and fourth quarters – 33 and 53 complaints, respectively. “The dynamics of complaints was influenced by measures aimed at reducing the spread of coronavirus infection,” the Central Bank said. According to the current legislation, the applicant’s business reputation can be restored if it is proved that he was not involved in the commission of actions that entailed negative consequences for the financial organization. In this case, based on the results of the decisions taken by the commission, the Bank of Russia excludes information about the applicants from the relevant database.
