Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has entered into a multi-year agreement with Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo. As part of the cooperation, the parties will issue a collection of non-fungible tokens exclusive to the Binance NFT platform.

According to the press release, the launch of the first collection is planned for the end of 2022. It is not known what NFTs will be. The company noted that these are “cult models” created in collaboration with the footballer.
“[Π ΠΎΠ½Π°Π»Π΄Ρ] has amassed one of the most dedicated fan bases in the world through his identity, talent and charitable work. We are excited to provide his fans with exclusive opportunities to interact with the idol and become the owners of a piece of legendary sports history,β said Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao.
Earlier, the Ukrainian football club Shakhtar launched a collection of non-fungible tokens on Binance NFT. The proceeds will be used to provide humanitarian assistance to people affected by the Russian invasion of the country.
Recall that in June 2022, Binance became a partner of The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour.
