The Ministry of Taxes and Duties informs that it will be possible to trade in markets and fairs without a cash desk until January 1, 2023. The corresponding resolution No. 304/12 was adopted by the Council of Ministers and the National Bank of Belarus on May 14, 2022 as part of the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan to Support the Economy.
As a result, “the period for the mandatory use of cash equipment for accepting cash in the retail trade in food products, including agricultural products, at fairs, trading places has been extended until January 1, 2023.”
Recall that many entrepreneurs had to supply cash equipment by October 10, 2021, however, the decision of the Council of Ministers and the National Bank No. 647/11 of November 15, 2021 gave a delay until May 18, 2022.
The new delay may be related to problems in the supply of cash equipment after the imposition of sanctions, as well as an incomprehensible situation with check paper.
