London-based Jacobi Asset Management has received a listing of a bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) on Euronext in Amsterdam.
The Jacobi Bitcoin ETF will officially launch in July on Euronext Amsterdam under the ticker BCOIN!

Trading in the instrument under the ticker BCOIN will begin in July. A specific date is not given.
Custodial services will be provided by Fidelity Digital Assets. Flow Traders and DRW will act as market makers. Legal support was provided by Kennedy Van der Laan.
Jacobi Asset Management received approval to launch the first Bitcoin ETF in Europe from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission in October 2021. ETNs are currently listed on the region’s stock exchanges and are structured as debt instruments.
The management cost will be 1.5% of AUMthe minimum investment is $100,000.
BCOIN will be available to institutional and professional investors.
The Netherlands will become the fourth country to approve the listing of a bitcoin ETF after Canada, Brazil and Australia.
Recall that Grayscale Investments sued SEC due to the refusal to convert GBTC into an exchange-traded fund based on the first cryptocurrency.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission has not yet approved any application to launch a spot bitcoin ETF.
